Dr. Nchimbi to launch exihibition in Butiama

The Ministry of Information, Youth, Culture and Sports is expected to launch exhibition week of commemoration for 50 years of independence at Butiama village on 7th October this week.

Addressing to journalists in Dar es Salaam yesterday, the Minister for Information, Youth, Culture and Sports Dr. Emmanuel Nchimbi (MP) said that the exhibitions aimed to show different achievements reached by the ministry since 9th December 1961. 

“The exhibition will end up on 14th October parallel with launching of Uhuru torch races at Butiama village as commemoration to the death of Father of Nation, Mwl Julius Kambarage Nyerere who introduced Mwenge rally” said Nchimbi.

The Vice President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr. Mohamed Ghalib Bilal will be a guest of honor to launch the Uhuru torch rally as a part and parcel of 50 years commemoration of Tanzania mainland independence.

The exhibition week will comprise the ministry’s institution and others stakeholders sectors include media, youth, culture and sports.

Apart from exhibitions, the ministry has also prepared different sports competition like bao, soccer, netball, athletics, and bicycle riding.

The ministry will also show different documentaries and writings of national events from 1961 so that people will be aware of their country’s history.  

“We have planned the participation of youth volunteering on different social activities that will be performed in Butiama village” he said.

Meanwhile, the Regional Commissioner of Mara, John Gabriel Tupa said that nearly 90 percent of preparation has already completed, that include grounds for sports an exhibition.  

Answering the question concerning last year chaos happened during Mwenge races at Butiama, the Regional Commissioner said that the government has organized well security environment and ensured peace exhibition.      

Three arraigned with conspiracy and theft

Three Residents were arraigned in the Kinondoni Resident Magistrate court charged with conspiracy to commit an offence and stealing by servants.

The Police Prosecutor Syllvester Shilikale told Resident Magistrate Aniseta Nwangula that in the first count the accused Francis Kamisha(46),John Ciment(45),and Aderyada Desdery(26) both residents of Kinondoni commit an offence on uknown date and places within months of August and September this year,Kinondoni District together commit an offence namely stealing by servants.

In the second count both on or about the 9th September, this year at Reagent Estate Migombani Street area,Kinondoni District being employed by Synovate Co.Ltd they did steal various office documents worths 69,181,980/-the property of Synovate Co. Ltd.

The accused remanded after being failed to meet the bail condition

The case has adjourned until 5 0ctober this year for another mention.

Meanwhile, a resident of Kimara makaroni yesterday was appeared before Kinondoni Resident Magistrate court charged with rape.

The Police Prosecutor Rugenalila Kasalilo told Resident Magistrate Suzan Kihawa that the accused Nickson Raymond(17) commit offence on 26 August this year at King’ong’o,Kinondoni District.

The accused did carnal knowledge of fourteen (14) aged girls

The accused remanded until the further investigation completed.

The case has adjourned until 6 0ctober this year for another mention.

In another development, a twenty two aged man was arraigned before Kinondoni Resident Magistrate court charged with reckless driving a motor vehicle on the public road.

The Police Prosecutor Mohamed Kilongo said before Resident Magistrate Suzan Kihawa that  Noel Ndeki resident of Kawe Mzizini,Kinondoni District commit offence on 2 September this year at 00:01hrs a long Bagamoyo road of Mbuyuni area.

The accused was ridden a tri-cycle Reg No.T.856 ETG make Bajaj on the public road recklessly he failed to control while was riding on the road thus he did ride extremely as a result knocked motor vehicle Reg No.T.449 BKM make Toyota Land Cruiser which lead damage to motor vehicle and tri motor cycle.

The accused remanded after being failed to meet the bail condition.

The case has adjourned until 5 October this year for another mention.

On the other hand, a resident of Manzese, Kinondoni District appeared before Kinondoni Resident Magistrate court charged with armed robbery.

The Police Prosecutor Rugenalila Kasalilo told Resident Magistrate Batiseba John that the accused commit an offence on about 13 day of September this year at Afrika Sana,Kinondoni District.

The accused did steal Motor cycle make Toyo Model Key colour black with Reg No.T.648 BLJ valued at 1,500,000/- the property of Ramadhan Pongwa and immediately before stole used violence to obtain the said Motorcycle.

The accused remanded after being failed to meet the bail conditions.

The case has adjourned until 5 0ctober this year for another mention.

Unknown woman found died in Dar es Salaam.

 A deceased body of unknown woman was found died in Dar es Salaam.

The Regional Police Commander of Ilala Faustine Shilogile said that the deceased body of woman was found on 2 October in Gongo la Mboto near Nemela industry in Ilala District at 11a.m.

Shilogile said the deceased body of woman who approximated to have 35-40 years was found under the tree accumulated with garbage.

He said the decomposed dead body was found wearing red trouser and unknown shirt colour.

He also said the source of death was not ready found and the investigation is still continuing.

Meanwhile, in another incident a fire was burnt house in Kimara Temboni in Kinondoni District.

The Regional Police Commander of Kinondoni Charles Kenyela said that the fire accident was occurred at 7 pm in house of John Zimbo Kimara Temboni Resident.

He said that on 2 0ctober this year the fire was burnt the house of six rooms and four rooms were burnt with properties.

He added that the fire was put off by the fire brigade and the Residents of Kimara Temboni.

Kenyela said the source of fire did not found and no body was found died in that incident and the investigation is still continuing.
